Thanks so much for visiting the Calvary Chapel Mercer County website. Whether you are searching for a new church home or in town visiting friends for the weekend and looking for a place to worship, we want your experience with Calvary to be a real blessing for you. This page is designed to answer some questions you may have about Calvary before coming on Sunday morning. If you have any additional questions that are not addressed here, please feel free to send us an email at connecting@welcometocalvary.org and we’ll interact with you before you even attend the first time.
WHERE DO YOU MEET?
Calvary Chapel Mercer County is one church that meets in two locations. We have a campus in Ewing, NJ that meets at the Ewing Senior Community Center (989 Lower Ferry Rd) and a campus that meets in Robbinsville, NJ at the Pond Road Middle School (150 Pond Road). Service starts at our Robbinsville Campus at 11 am, while in Ewing, there are two services (9:30 and 11 am).
WILL THERE BE PARKING AND SIGNS TO DIRECT ME?
Both campuses have ample parking available outside of the main entrance. Signs marked “Welcome to Calvary Chapel” are clearly posted by the entrance doors to further direct you.
WHAT WILL THE SERVICE BE LIKE?
At both of our campuses, we have about 20 minutes of contemporary worship lead by a live band. You will also find the words projected on a screen for you to follow (and sing if you would like) if you are not familiar with the songs. After a brief period of announcements, one of our Pastors teaches for about 30-40 minute verse by verse from the Bible. Our pastors teach through a book of the Bible and many of the messages will have slides that are projected to accompany the teaching. Our messages are preached live at the Ewing Campus and are displayed via enhanced video at the Robbinsville Campus.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Dress is casual and comfortable.
DO MY KIDS ATTEND THE SERVICE WITH ME?
Both campuses offer a full children’s program to teach the Bible in an age appropriate manner to children ages 2 through 12. Both campuses also offer a nursery that provides care for infants. At the Ewing Campus, a Jr. High Sunday School class is offered during the 11 am service. Parents that are more comfortable keeping their children with them are welcome to have their children attend the adult service.
WILL I BE ABLE TO GET ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHURCH WHEN I GET THERE?
Yes. Much of the information you’re looking for will be available on this website, but we also offer an Information Table at both campuses staffed by friendly volunteers ready to answer any questions you may have and direct you as necessary.
Thanks again for choosing to consider Calvary Chapel as your place of worship this Sunday morning.
