Ms. Kenny is a graduate from Philadelphia Biblical University with her Masters in Christian Counseling and has recently attained the status of Nationally Certified Counselor. She currently works as a therapist at Ganey Counseling & Consultation in Newtown, PA. GCC is a Christian based practice that seeks to treat the whole person, couple or family. Ms. Kenny is supervised by Dr. Kevin Ganey, a licensed psychologist.
Ms. Kenny has a particular passion for providing people with a safe place to be honest and real about their struggles and helping them to practically work through the deepest issues of their heart. She has worked with those struggling with the effects of trauma, sexual addictions, depression, anxiety, substance abuse addictions, anger, grief, forgiveness and relational issues. Ms. Kenny works with children, adolescents, adults and couples. She is also working with Dr. Ganey to provide groups for teens and women with issues related to eating disorders or distorted body image and women who have experienced trauma. Additionally, Ms. Kenny also serves as a therapist for families and their children in the adoption and foster care system where she helps people heal from broken relationships, neglect, abuse, and the resulting effects of such situations.
