Addiction’s Ministry

NEW FOUNDATION ADDICTION MINISTRY

Meeting at Grace-St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mercerville, NJ, Tuesday evenings at 7 pm.

NEW
2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

FOUNDATION
Luke 6:47-48 – Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you what he’s like; He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house and could not shake it, for it was founded on the ROCK!

NEW FOUNDATION ADDICTION MINISTRY uses a ONE STEP approach to helping you or your loved one overcome addictions.  That step is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and, as you cling to Him, He through the Holy Spirit, will enable you to have victory over the sin we call addiction.

Three elements of NEW FOUNDATION combine to provide you or your loved one with strength and healing.
They are:
1. Reading and applying the Word of God
2. Fellowshiping with other believers in Christ (accountability)
3. Communicating with God constantly through the discipline of prayer

NEW FOUNDATION ADDICTION MINISTRY will provide help not only for the person struggling with an addiction but also for the friends and family of those who are addicted with practical suggestions, support and encouragement.

Addictions are a sin problem and that problem is spiritual in nature and thus we must use what God has given us to overcome that problem.  The One who designed us is the ONLY ONE who can truly make us new!

NEW FOUNDATION ADDICTION MINISTRY  is led by Dan and Charlotte Flansburg.  For many years Dan was addicted to drugs, and his life was in ruins.  After a restraining order was in place, Charlotte had given up hope that things could change.  Only through God’s grace Dan and Charlotte are free from the past and moving with hope toward the future.  Over the past ten years Dan has been in several addiction recovery programs and God has blessed him with the ability to offer hope and encouragement to others.  Your situation may seem hopeless, but please understand, our God is a God of miracles.  He changes people from the inside out.  He can change anyone, and He starts in the heart.

Feel free to contact Dan and Charlotte for more information or just stop by any Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm at Grace-St. Paul Episcopal Church (3715 East State Street Extension, Mercerville, NJ).
