Scott Turansky is married to Carrie and they have five children and two grandchildren. Carrie is an author of women’s inspirational fiction. You can learn more about her writing at her own web site www.carrieturansky.com. She also heads up the Women’s Ministry at Calvary Chapel. Carrie grew up in Oregon where she met Scott through their church. 

Josh, their oldest son is married to Melinda and they have two boys, Hudson and Hayden. Grandma and Grandpa enjoy playing with their grandchildren when they get the chance. Josh and Melinda live on the island of Kauai in Hawaii where they oversee a Bible College and disciple young adults. You can learn more about their work at www.kauaibiblecollege.com.  

Melissa is a registered nurse and works at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. In August  ’08 she and Peter Morrison were married in a beautiful ceremony at their church, Circle of Hope, in Philadelphia. Peter and Melissa are looking forward to working in Africa in the future.
 

Ben is currently deployed to Iraq with his Marine unit until April ’09. He is a mechanic keeping all those heavy-duty vehicles running for his infantry battalion. 

Megan is finishing up a three-month pet grooming training program in Knoxville TN and plans to return to NJ in April ’09. She hopes to return to work full-time at Pet Smart. Megan works as a Sunday School Coordinator at Calvary. Elizabeth, Megan’s twin sister, is working full-time at Pet Co. She has a special love for animals and enjoys working in the church nursery.

 

Scott loves pastoring and enjoys working with the other leaders at Calvary Chapel. He’s been a pastor for 28 years and likes to keep it simple: teach the Word and love people. He has also written five books on parenting and teaches parenting seminars all over the country for the National Center for Biblical Parenting. Scott also loves his family and enjoys regular interaction with his kids even though they are all over the world. He also loves his Mac.
