Women's ministry has the goal of providing opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, caring, encouragement and outreach for the women of Calvary Chapel. Bible studies with prayer and sharing times are available in the morning once a week and in the evening on a regular basis. We are studying God's Word and find application to our lives as women as we discuss and learn together. Special events for fellowship and outreach include: Our annual Christmas Tea, Women Connect monthly fellowship times, special meetings with speakers and our annual retreat. Caring for new mothers, those who are sick, moving or who have a special need is also an important part of our ministry. Our desire is that every woman will feel connected, find ways to serve, and grow in her faith. Carrie Turansky oversees our women's ministry, and there are many women who work together to make women's ministry at Calvary successful. |
